Mit Market Panic kommt das nächste Kampagnenbuch für SR5. Im Zentrum stehen die 10 Megakonzerne. Zu allen Megas gibt einen historischen und aktuellen Ausblick, eine Übersicht zum personellen und industriellen Aufbau, sowie eine Einschätzung der Runneraktivitäten für und gegen den jeweiligen Mega.
Fazit
Viel gibt es zu diesem Quellenbuch nicht zu sagen, da es im Grunde nichts anderes ist, als eine Zusammenfassung der großen 10. Wenn man es genau nimmt, dann ist es ein Update des Quellenbuchs Konzerndossier aus der vierten Edition, nur mit teilweise aktuellen Projekten und Problemen der Megakons. Ein Pflichtkauf ist dieses Buch mit Sicherheit nicht, da es an sich nur ein Update ist. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen, der wirklich alle aktuellen Hintergrundinformationen zu den Konzernen haben möchten und auch sonst alles sammelt was es von CGL/Pegasus zum Thema Shadowrun gibt.
Market Panic is the next campaign book for Shadowrun 5. The main topic in this book are the 10 mega corporations, a chapter is dedicated for each corporation. Each chapter has nearly the same content. A historical and actual overview, an overview of the personal and industrial structure, as well as an assessment of the runner activities for and against the respective corportion.
Summary
There is not much to say about this sourcebook. Basicallly it is nothing else than a summary of the big 10. If you look at it closely, it is an update of the sourcebook Corporate Guide from the fourth edition, with current projects and problems of the megacorps. A must-have is this book certainly not, because it is only an update. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to have all the latest background information on the corporations and everyone else who collects everything from CGL/Pegasus about Shadowrun.
